Summary

Gokū begins to collapse from the tail pull, leading Muten Rōshi to conclude that the match's ending was a disappointment. Tenshinhan is surprised to notice Goku's weakness and believes that facing Kuririn in the final round will be too easy a victory. Before the countdown can end, Gokū jumps over Kuririn's head and uses his tail to manipulate his friend and slam him into the tile. Gokū revealed that he had taken Muten Róshi's advice to heart over the past three years, training his tail to withstand the pressure. Muten Rōshi thinks that it is not only Goku's good nature that makes him so incredible, but also his ability to persevere in training so well to overcome his own weaknesses. This leads him to believe that not only does Gokū have no weaknesses, he retracts this statement once he realizes that Gokū is still too trusting.
In response to Kuririn's dirty trick, Gokū vanishes on the spot, leading others to believe that literally disappeared. However, Muten Rōshi is able to detect Goku's presence and Tenshinhan also knows better. With Gokū's speed, Tenshinhan can barely follow his movements, but the vibrations that Gokū emits when he moves are enough to guide him. Gokū reappears and hits Kuririn, sending him out of the ring, winning the match. Those in the crowd couldn't see what Gokū had done, but Tenshinhan noticed that when Gokū reappeared, he hit Kuririn with nine blows, but held back enough power that Kuririn only suffered a ringing.
Both Muten Rōshi and Tsuru Sennin noticed this .
