Vegeta tells Kakarotto to explain how he survived the planet Namek. Yamcha also wants to know how Kaiō said Freeza's ship was broken. Goku says he thought it was over but then he saw some round ships nearby, four or five. Vegeta says that it must have been Ginyu's special forces ships. Goku says getting in and recklessly hitting the switches and driving off. Then the ship arrived on its own at a planet called Yardrat. Vegeta says that Ginyu was going to attack Yardrat, so the data must have already been entered. And the weird clothes must be what people wear on Yardrat. Goku says it doesn't look that good, but his clothes were all torn up.
Vegeta notes that he didn't come straight home from Yardrat, but he knows that the people there don't have power. Instead, they use arcane techniques and he had to stay to learn them. Goku says that's right and Bulma wants him to tell them about the techniques. Goku says there is only one, teleportation. Goku then tells Bulma to have a healthy baby and he flies off with Gohan and Piccolo. Kuririn asks Bulma if she's pregnant and she says no, wondering what Goku was talking about. Yamcha nervously says that he probably meant that the two should get married and have a family.
Some time has passed and Kuririn is back at Kame House. Kame-Sen'nin tells Kuririn that Goku's ghost came and stole his glasses, but then wonders why Kuririn has them. At Capsule Corp, Vegeta asks Dr. Brief to make him a 300G room (since Kakarrot trained for 100G, he wants three times as much) and Dr. Brief thinks he's crazy. At the Son house, Chi-Chi shouts that the training is interfering with Gohan's studies, and only Goku and Piccolo should do it. Goku understands this, but they will need his power for Earth's sake. Chi-Chi yells that Goku doesn't work and she doesn't want Gohan to be like that, and that he hasn't made a dime since they got married. Goku says that Gohan wants to fight, but Chi-Chi insists that he can't. Goku asks if he thinks Gohan's studies are more important than the future of Earth, and Chi-Chi says of course he is. Thinking she's joking, Goku taps her back lightly and she flies down the side of the house. Goku realizes that he is too strong. As Goku bandages her up, she says that in three years she will absolutely not be a Kenpo, and Goku says yes. Piccolo notes somewhere outside their house that even a Saiyan has a weak spot. Meanwhile, Vegeta fights in the gravity room and declares that he will become even stronger than a Super Saiyan. And then three years passed and May 12th came. Goku, Gohan and Piccolo refuse Chi-Chi's offer of food and then fly away.
