Dragon Ball Manga Vol.31 Chapter 375 : Vegeta and Trunks Depart!!
Summary:
Their clothes are tattered and Trunks' hair has grown longer. Trunks apologizes for the delay, saying that his father had already surpassed Super Saiyan limits in two months, but he wanted to use up all the time. Vegeta says enough talk and Goku assumes it went well. Vegeta says that he doesn't have to go train now because he can take care of Cell and the artificial people now. Goku says that he saw Cell and now that he has absorbed number 17 and evolved, he is an incredible monster. Bulma then arrives and is surprised to see Trunks with such different hair and grown up. He explains that he trained in a strange room for a year. He then wonders why Vegeta didn't grow hair. Vegeta says that a pure Saiyan's hair stays the same from birth. Goku realizes that his hair is the same.
Vegeta says it doesn't matter and asks Bulma why she came here. She says she brought battle clothes and pulled out a full capsule case. Goku is surprised at how light it is, and Gohan says it reminds him of the one he wore on Planet Namek. Trunks also turn into one. Bulma asks Tenshinhan and Piccolo if they want one, and Piccolo says that he has no intention of wearing the same clothes as the Saiyans and Freeza. Vegeta tells Kakarotto that he doesn't have to wear it and Goku says that it would be great if Vegeta defeated Cell. Vegeta says he's on his way and Goku offers to take him through the Shunkan-Idō. But Vegeta refuses and flies away. Trunks says he will go too, but first Goku gives him two senzu to take. Bulma tells him not to die and then Trunks flies off as well. Goku tells Gohan that it is now their turn to train.
Cell flies over the ocean and thinks that with their speed he should be able to catch up to them by now. He hasn't seen any sign of them, so they must be hiding somewhere on one of these islands. Then Cell takes a deep breath and yells, “You hear me #18!!!! Show yourself!!!! If you don't, I will destroy these islands one by one, you understand!!!! I'm not bluffing!!!! I bet you think not, because if you're destroyed too, I can't reach my perfect form. Shame on you!!!! I really wanted to reach my perfect form, but as it is now, there is no one in the world who can match me!!!!” #18, holed up on the island with #16, is angry with Cell. Number 16 tells her not to move, Cell is desperate to reach her perfect form and she won't destroy it. Meanwhile, Vegeta is on his way.
