Dragon Ball Manga Vol.35 Chapter 417 : The Grand Finale
Summary:
Piccolo can't believe that Gohan actually did this and Yamcha is thrilled. Piccolo, Yamcha, Kuririn holding number 18 and Tenshinhan with Trunks over his shoulder land next to Gohan and Yamcha excitedly goes on about how well Gohan did. Kuririn says they will go visit Dende since all the senzu are gone. Yamcha picks up an exhausted Gohan and he, Tenshinhan with Trunks, and Kuririn with #18 all fly off. Piccolo turns to Vegeta and says he helped him. Vegeta tells him not to say anything unnecessary because he didn't do it to help them. Piccolo smiles and then flies off with the others. Vegeta says that both father and son have already done it. He gets mad at Kakarrot because even after death he was better. Now they can't fight anymore and Vegeta flies off somewhere alone.
Mr. Satan gets up and sees that everyone is gone. The Herald gets up shortly after and runs to Satan, asking what happened to Cell. Satan hesitates and then proudly says that he defeated Cell. They were just doing their tricks with the orbs of light, so he took care of Cello. The announcer asks about the others and Satan says they thanked him and went home. The announcer thinks this is great and then yells into his microphone about Mr. Satan saving the world from Cell. Everyone around the world is cheering and chanting "SATAN".
In God's Palace, Number 18 wakes up, having been healed by Dende. Yamcha yells at Dende to run or he'll be killed, but Kuririn says there's no need. Gohan was already healed as well. Number 18 jumps back to his feet, but Kuririn says it's okay. Cell's perfect form was defeated by Gohan. #18 is surprised to hear that it was Gohan and Yamcha yells at her about how incredibly strong he is so don't try anything. Piccolo tells her that she should thank Kuririn for taking care of her after Cell spat her out. Kuririn tries to say it's not a big deal. Then Gohan says “Got it!! Kuririn likes #18!!” Kuririn hits Gohan in the head and Yamcha and Tenshinhan are surprised. #18 says she wouldn't fall for him that easily and calls him a midget as he flies off. Yamcha yells at her about kicking her ass, and Tenshinhan tells him he's being unreasonable.
Piccolo says that the more important thing is that they need to bring everyone back to life, and Mr. Popo comes out with a bowl full of dragon balls that Goku collected. Gohan tells Kuririn that it's okay that he still has his friends and Kuririn weakly tells him to shut up. The sky darkens and Shenlong appears. Number 18 notices the sudden darkness and turns. Yamcha says please bring all the people killed by Cell back to life and then Trunks sits down. No. 18 is now watching it from behind the near post. Piccolo says that he can't feel Goku's ki and figured it was no use. Shenlong wants a second wish. Yamcha asks if he could bring back Son Goku, but Shenlong says it's impossible. So he has to come up with another good wish.
