Dragon Ball Manga Vol.37 Chapter 437 : A Mysterious Pair
Summary:
The announcer says the adult division will start at 1:40pm after a thirty minute break. Kuririn suggests they get some food in the meantime. The attendant stops them and says that only those who passed the preliminary match can pass, but Kuririn insists that they did. Their names are Kuririn, Son Goku, No. 18, Vegeta and Ma Junior. Goku asks about "Ma Junior" and Piccolo says that "Piccolo" can be annoying. They can walk through and the attendant tells them the draw for the order of matches will be at 1:30. Kuririn says that only them and Gohan will be good for anything and Goku doesn't have any money for rewards right now. Kuririn says that he doesn't even age when he's dead, and Goku asks if he wants to try. Kuririn says he's incredibly happy right now, so he passes on the offer.
Trunks calls out to Goten and they look at the masked adult participant. Trunks says he's been through the preliminaries if he's there and thinks they can "use" him. They could fit into his clothes and then fight adults dressed like him. Goten says they can't but Trunks insists and then runs to the guy. Trunks tells the guy that a pretty girl wanted to talk to him, takes him behind a building and then knocks him down. They take his clothes off and Goten thinks they are too small for that. Therefore, they will both wear it. The trunks sit on Goten's shoulders, then they put on their clothes and voila! Goten pokes the eye holes in his shirt so he can see as well. And then they run off looking pretty weird.
Meanwhile, Goku and Vegeta are munching on plate after plate of food as everyone else looks on after finishing their meal. Kuririn wonders if it's okay to eat so much, he doubts dead people are even hungry. Goku says that it doesn't matter if you eat in that world or not, and says that the food of the lower world is much tastier. Gohan and Videl arrive and Gohan also joins the big meal. Kuririn is interested in Saiyan stomachs. After they finish all their food, they walk back and Gohan asks Videl if she didn't eat because she's on a diet, but she doesn't say anything. As they walk around, they come across a strange couple.
A very tall, serious man and a tiny little guy with spiked hair that hovers. Piccolo and Goku are speechless as Videl comments on the floating. The little boy greets "Son Goku-san" and explains that he's heard of him. He also passed the preliminary matches and hopes to fight against Goku. He doubts he can beat Goku, but would like to see how strong he really is. Then he wants to shake Goku's hand. They shake and the guy says that Goku has a really good soul. The pair leave and Goku thinks that it won't be so easy for them to win after all. But Kuririn didn't think anything special about them.
