Summary:
Piccolo doubts the two were from Earth, but wonders why aliens would be here. Videl asks about this alien thing and Gohan whispers to her that Piccolo is a little weird and she trusts him because of his skin. Kuririn wants the drawing to hurry up and start. They continue backstage and arrive just in time for the drawings. Kuririn prays to God that he won't fight any of his friends in the first round, and Piccolo says that God is Dende. Goku looks around and doesn't think anyone other than the pair looked great before. He thinks about the two guys with "M's" on their foreheads and thinks Mighty Mask looks weird.
The announcer says he will call them all in [Japanese] alphabetical order. The draw begins and Killa draws #14, Kibito #7, Kuririn #1, Great Saiyaman draws #8 to pit him against Kibito, #18 #9 and Shin #3. Trunks asks Goten if they know their masked guy's name, but he doesn't. Spopovich is called but doesn't respond so Trunks and Goten think it must be their name and run over. The announcer tells them they are the Mighty Mask while the real Spopovich comes in and angrily draws the number 6. Jewel draws another and gets the number 16, with Son Goku drawing the number 11 after him. They call Videl and she asks about her dad and the announcer says that he's resting, so he'll draw for him. Videl drew #5 against Spopovich. Upon hearing this, Goku realizes that she is Mr. Satan's daughter, and Kuririn asks Gohan when they will be married. Puntar draws number 2 and Kuririn is relieved to be able to fight him. Vegeta Draw #12, Against Goku! Vegeta had waited a long time for this day. Trunks and Goten argue about whose father will win as they are summoned and draw #13 against Kille. Ma Junior drew #4 against Shin. The announcer then draws Mister Satan, getting #10, against #18. Finally, Yama draws #15, against Jewel. The matches are ready!
The announcer takes them all to the waiting room and goes over the rules again. There is also now a thirty minute time limit per match due to the increased number of matches. Puntar says that he will only need ten seconds to defeat Kuririn, who just scoffs. The announcer then goes out, announcing the start of the Tenka'ichi Budōkai. The attendant tells Satan (who is still recovering) that he will be in the fifth match and his opponent is an unknown yet beautiful girl. Satan sits excitedly.
