Dragon Ball Manga Vol.37 Chapter 443 : The Plan Goes into Motion
Summary:
The announcer informs the crowd that Videl's life is not in danger and begins to announce the fourth match, but Gohan runs out to ask him to wait a moment as they are getting a special medicine for Videl. Goku then returns with three senzu (that's all Karin had) and Gohan asks Kibito to hold on a little longer while he helps Videl. Gohan goes to the doctor's room and tells Videl to eat this bean, but the doctor protests that he's giving his patients weird food. Videl says that since it's Gohan, something special is probably going to happen. Satan tells her not to listen to him and spit it out, but she chews it anyway. Now Gohan has to leave for his match and Satan thinks the kid is really going to suffer. Videl's eyes suddenly widened and she sat up in amazement, completely healed. She gets up, excited, while Satan and the doctor are in utter shock.
The fourth match is about to start, Great Saiyaman vs Kibito. Erasa and Shapner recognize the name as Satan City's Justice Friend and their classmate looks through the binoculars and says it looks like Son Gohan. Shapner examines them to see for himself and agrees. Erasa thinks that Gohan just borrowed the name to secretly compete because he is so shy. Shapner wonders if he knows how to fight, while the other kid says they should cheer for him, no matter how hopeless it is. "Fight Gohan! Even if you can't win, at least pass the first round!!” Gohan realizes he's been completely exposed and sighs as he drops his sunglasses.
The match begins, but Gohan is worried about the commotion that will be caused if the kids at school know how strong he is, especially since Kibito doesn't seem like a very easy opponent. But his worries quickly disappear when Kibito asks him to turn into that Super Saiyan thing, it could really help them. Gohan wants to know how he knows about the Super Saiyan and what he means by "help us". Kibito says he will find out soon. However, Gohan is reluctant to transform in front of this crowd. Backstage, Yamu questions them and Spopovich, holding a strange looking meter, says no, their energy is low. Piccolo yells at Gohan and Goku asks Piccolo if something is wrong.
